It is not surprising that our nation Nigeria is witnessing an upheaval owning to the advocate for an increase in the vat and other service charges which has directly and indirectly caused a retrogressive posture of our nation’s economy.

Rather than advocate for an increase in the service charges and other impediment levies and other sundry charges that has become an impediment to the delivery of services by our international contractors and service providers our authorities should first deal with the issue of making services for our esteemed contractors easy and people feel all their services by reducing or waive off such cost sand measures to enable our teeming masses realize the import of democracy.

It is for this that the federal government of Nigeria set up a committee headed by a former senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, senator Udoma Udoma to harmonize the exercise of vat and other sundry charges which has crippled the attendant service delivery from our respected international contractors, investors, service providers, technical partners, etc.

The mandate of this committee which shoulder among other things, the investigation of all the charges on our contractors, technical partners, service providers, investors, etc, which has stalled their active participation in our economy either by not allowing them full participation or by undue delay in the payment of services rendered by these contractors and service providers.

I therefore seek your notice on this subject as a matter of urgency to report to my committee detail of your participation including the ministry, the parastatal, the contract site and description, your total service/contract value in dollars and other relevant information about your contract.

My committee by its mandate will treat with dispatch your response and act as follows:
(A) INVESTIGATE THE AUTHENTICITY OF YOUR CONTRACT.
(B) RETRIVE YOUR PAYMENT FILE AND REMOVE ALL IMPENDING CHARGES ON IT.
(C) MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT STRICTLY ON OUR RECORDS.
