OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR
CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA
FROM THE DESK OF
SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI
E-mail: cenbkpymnt@live.com
Attn: Beneficiary,
Sir/Madam,
Having successfully taken over from my predecessor, Professor Charles Soludo,
who was asked to resign by the President and Commander of the Arm Forces of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria due to misappropriation of monies, meant for
settlement of foreign debts and maladministration of the affairs of this Bank,
I wish to inform you that this is ongoing scrutinization and verification of
your payment file for the subsequent completion of your contractual/inheritance
payment claim.
Having gone through your payment file, I noticed some mistakes done by the
previous management of the bank that had made it difficult by all the bank?s
foreign subordinate and our correspondence bank to honour all the bank?s
instruments to facilitate the wire transfer of this money into your account,
thus hindering you from receiving your money.
In order to avoid this mistake, a new payment arrangement has been planned with
the World Bank assistant to effectively credit your account electronically,
avoiding the former bureaucracies that hindered the former arrangement.
In view of this, I will advice that you immediately reconfirm all your
contract/inheritance particulars including your bank coordinate to enable me
release your fund into your account before seventy two (72hrs)
banking hours.
Meanwhile, now that I am in charge I have not authorized any body whosoever to
contact you on my behalf or will not honour any third party representative, all
communication should be between you and I, as you can always get me on
234-1-2177935 (office) or 234 835799963 (mobile).
Call me any time on my cell phone so that I will brief you on this payment
arrangement.
Yours sincerely,
Mr. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi
Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria.
