SGC-X: Partners by Merik Katuryan This is the third volume of a Stargate SG-1 fan-fiction trilogy. A year has gone by since another Samantha Carter arrived on this Earth via the quantum mirror discovered by Dr. Daniel Jackson. Our Earth fought off the attack by the Goa'uld Apophis which devastated her world, but the threat level here remains high as Goa'uld below System Lord level jockey for position and influence.
The sometime refugee is now married to the British mathematician Dr. H. T. Trajan and continuing her career with the US Air Force in new ways. The Trajans are back in Colorado after working on the Glider Plus project in Nevada. Dr. H.T. Trajan has found that he becomes almost invisible when he was in his wife's world of flight design. There she was the dominant one and he becomes an accessory, ‘the husband', to those who lack the security clearance to know what he does for a living.
At the start of the summer of her second year on this Earth, Samantha Trajan has been assigned to an active shield project located near their home in Silver Spring and Station Zebra, home of the SGC. Earth and Almed are seeking allies and working more closely together. Exploration and threat-management continued to be main priorities for Stargate Command and the SG teams sent off-world via the stargate, often paired with an Almed team.
